Bar and Grill etc .and also the Waterfront Blues Festival. John joins Brian and the band to bring you some great blues music !
Chuck Carey
Bassist Chuck Carey started his musical career playing the tuba in 6th grade band. While his career with the brass instrument was short-lived, that did not stop him from pursuing a passion for music for the rest of his life.
He would dabble in drums and guitar before finally settling on the 5 string fretless bass guitar.
Chuck has been a staple of the Portland-area blues music scene, having played with great groups such as the Tess Barr Blues Band, The Sky Blue Water Boys, and more. He has also played in likely every dive bar and low-budget music festival in Portland.

Joey Sullivan
Hi, my name is Joey Sullivan and I play the drums. Sometimes I even sing and there isn’t a lot to tell except that I was born in Newport, Rhode Island and began playing when I was 8 years of age. I took my first professional gigs when I was 16 and have never stopped (voluntarily)! I have performed up and down the East Coast and in Ireland but mostly in the greater New England area. I’ve played a little bit of Jazz and Country and a lot of Rock-n-Roll, Rockabilly, R&B and Traditional Irish Music. I moved to Oregon 3 years ago. Started freelancing and more recently began playing with Brian Batchley and The PDX PreachersPeace & Love, Joey
